For my Principles of Marketing class at College of the Canyons, I worked on creating a marketing plan with my teammates for the Santa Clarita Food Pantry. This plan was my very first marketing plan project. I learned a lot about how to put together a marketing plan for a nonprofit and to help the Food Pantry reach its numerous goals in serving more low-income people in the community. The team and I made suggestions on how to increase awareness through their website, brochure, as well as sending informational mail to the community. We also suggested that the Santa Clarita Food Pantry increase their online presence. This awareness would be the cheapest way for the nonprofit to reach even more people. We also included how to acquire more volunteers from the community and how to increase food donation support.
